About Dr. Sullivan

An unhurried listener first. A chiropractor second.

Dr. Chris Sullivan has spent 18 years in chiropractic practice — 9 of them here in North Carolina — built around one simple idea: real care starts with really listening.

Dr. Chris Sullivan, chiropractor at Chiropractic Partners Cary

Why He Does This Differently

Early in his career, Dr. Sullivan saw firsthand what happens when patients get rushed through cookie-cutter care plans — the same visit frequency, the same protocol, regardless of how someone's actually responding. He built his practice as the opposite of that. Every care plan at Chiropractic Partners Cary is customized, because no two patients — or spines — respond the same way.

That means taking a structural, diagnosis-first approach: understanding exactly what's going on before recommending any treatment, rather than treating a symptom and hoping it sticks.

Trained for More Than One Approach

Dr. Sullivan is certified in upper cervical technique, in addition to traditional and low-force adjusting — which means care can be tailored not just to the condition, but to how comfortable a patient is with hands-on adjusting in the first place. He's also Webster's Technique certified for prenatal care.

Beyond the Office

Dr. Sullivan has worked with NC State athletes and coaches youth sports himself, including his son's baseball team. He lives in Cary with his family, and outside of the office, he's just as likely to be found on a ballfield or sideline as anywhere else.

What Patients Notice Most

Ask patients what stands out, and it's rarely the technique — it's that he actually listens. He takes the time to hear the full story, investigate what's really going on, and explain it clearly, instead of rushing to the next appointment.
