Chiropractic Care

A precise, unhurried approach — matched to what your body actually needs.

Every visit starts the same way: we find out what's really going on before we ever touch your spine. From there, Dr. Sullivan draws on three distinct techniques — not because more is better, but because no two patients (or spines) respond to the same approach. Whether you want a traditional adjustment or you'd rather avoid any popping or cracking altogether, there's a path here that fits you.

Three adjusting approaches

The right technique for the right patient

No two spines are the same. Dr. Sullivan chooses the approach that matches your comfort level, your condition, and your goals.

Upper Cervical Care

Upper cervical care focuses on the alignment of the top two vertebrae and the position of the skull — the foundation the rest of your spine and nervous system rely on. Because this area is so sensitive, adjustments here are done in a gentle, non-forceful manner, but the impact can extend well beyond the neck, supporting whole-body health and function. Dr. Sullivan is certified in this technique and often uses it as a starting point for patients dealing with chronic or hard-to-pin-down issues.

Traditional Chiropractic

This is the adjusting most people picture: hands-on manual techniques applied throughout the spine, sometimes paired with drop-table adjustments in the pelvis. It's direct, effective, and often includes the release most patients associate with a great adjustment.

Low-Force Adjustments

For patients who'd rather skip the popping and cracking entirely, low-force adjustments use instruments — like an Arthrostim or Activator — to gently realign misaligned segments of the spine without any forceful pushing, twisting, or popping. Same goal, different feel. If the idea of a traditional adjustment makes you nervous, this is worth asking about.

That's exactly what a complimentary consultation is for — no pressure, no commitment, just a real conversation about what's going on and how we'd approach it.
